When this is done, catch thread, and let it pass through the first two thread strands. After which, you insert your hook into the following chain stitch. Keep doing this, until you’ve reached the length you want as well.

The next common stitch is the single crochet stitch. Just like the previous crochet directions, the single crochet stitch makes use of a chain at a length you desire. You still insert the hook through the second chain from the hook. After which, you catch the thread and draw more through the loop. Repeat the thread over and drawing motion with both loops on your hook until you reach your desired length.
